USS Midway Celebration

We're wrapping things up in epic fashion—see you on the flight deck of the USS Midway for the celebration!

Our ISG family will have this iconic vessel solely for the use of the attendees of Industry Week’26. We will provide private transport from our Gaylord Pacific base to the USS Midway and then home again. Dinner, music, private tours of the ship, flight simulators (among other adventurous activities) and a great bar will provide the fun for this one-of-a-kind evening. And of course, the Battleship Bonanza competition to win big money!

The USS Midway was the United States' longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century, from 1945 to 1992. Approximately 200,000 sailors served aboard the carrier, known for several naval aviation breakthroughs as well as several humanitarian missions. Besides being a filming site and world premier site for the Top Gun: Maverick movie, the ship has performed admirably in its retirement. It has been the home for an NCAA basketball game, American Idol shows, as well as the Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, FOX News, The Bachelor, Extreme Makeover, History Channel, and Military Channel. The nationally televised annual "Battle on the Midway" collegiate wrestling showcase has been staged each November on the flight deck of the museum since 2017. It is truly America’s Living Symbol of Freedom in so many ways. Come and share an evening of history, great food and company, and a final send-off of our great week of networking and enlightened learning with the best of the best in our business.

Note: Must be 21 years or older to attend. Your Industry Week ’26 badge is necessary for entry onto the USS Midway.

Recommended Attire: For your comfort and safety while exploring the USS Midway, we recommend wearing comfortable, flat-soled shoes with good traction. The ship features metal decks, uneven surfaces, and stairways that are best navigated in practical footwear. We also suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater, as November temperatures can be cool, particularly on the exposed upper decks.
